When you use our website or contact us, we may collect: name, email address, phone number, country, company name, project details and documents you share for translation, IP address, and browser data. We collect only what is necessary to provide the requested service.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to respond to project enquiries, deliver translation services, process payments through Stripe, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for automated profiling.

3. Stripe and Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store or access payment card data. Stripe processes and stores payment data under its own privacy policy. When you proceed to Stripe Checkout, you are on Stripe's platform under their security protocols.

4. Document Confidentiality

Documents shared for translation are treated as strictly confidential. They are shared only with the assigned translator and project manager under NDA. Documents are deleted from our systems 90 days after project completion unless you request longer retention.

5. Retention

Contact records and project correspondence are retained for 3 years from last contact for legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion at any time subject to legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict processing; and to request a portable copy. Contact privacy@smart-translator.com to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies
